The Louisiana Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (LARVC) hosted its annual state conference in late January at the Horseshoe Casino in Lake Charles, La.
Jan. 27 was the official start of the conference with Ksquared making a second appearance with both Kayla Simon and Kayla Blanchard speaking. “Marketing Mastermind” was their topic this year.
Mike Harrison, COO of CRR Hospitality, also presented virtually on Revenue Management – Enhancing Your Top & Bottom Lines.
There were 11 vendor booths that were part of the conference’s trade show and the conference attracted a total of 45 people.
“Although the conference was down from 2024, that did not stop the connections that were made and knowledge gained by our members,” noted LARVC officials.
The night ended with a live auction and Bobby Sorden providing entertainment with a trivia game.
Jan. 28 began with the Pledge of Allegiance and a moment of silence. The general membership meeting and 2025 board elections were held.
The new Executive Board for LARVC includes:
- Greg Domingue, of Poche’s RV Park in Breaux Bridge, as president
- Noah Foulkes, of Wildwood Resort in Zwolle, as vice president
- Geralyn Myers, of Myers Landing RV Park in Lake Arthur, as secretary/treasurer
Other board members include:

Other speakers during the conference included Kyle Edmiston, CEO of Visit Lake Charles, who presented information on Occupancy Taxes and Park Regulations, explaining to members how they can connect with their local Convention & Visitors Bureaus.
Lance Bevier, of Kampgrounds of America Inc., spoke on Financial Basics for Managers.
Riley Wilson, of OHI, followed Lance with updates and information from the national association.
Bobby Sorden, of App my Community and Supplier’s Spot, created an app for LARVC with all of the conference details for everyone to download and use throughout the conference.
The app is still live and accessible to all who download it and LARVC can use it for future information as needed.
